Stage 2 MPS on Corksport turbo and 98 RON—215 kW atw

The L3-VDT responds well to bolt-ons, and this MPS demonstrates exactly that. Corksport turbo, upgraded intercooler, full exhaust, and cold air intake gave the factory ECU plenty to work with. The calibration focused on safe timing advance and fuelling across the table to suit 98 RON, keeping the all-wheel-drive traction in mind and avoiding the drivetrain stress that comes from overly aggressive low-range delivery.

Result was 215 kW at the wheels and 322 Nm, measured post-tune by the workshop. Torque figure is conservative—these platforms will take more, but longevity of the factory block and transfer case was a priority. Solid outcome for a street-driven car that still sees spirited weekend use on closed circuits.

Common questions
Is 322 Nm low for a Stage 2 MPS with a bigger turbo?

It's deliberate. The factory block and AWD drivetrain have known limits, so torque was kept in check to preserve the clutch pack and diff. Power comes higher in the range where mechanical stress is easier to manage.

Can this calibration run E85 if the customer switches fuel later?

No. This file is built specifically for 98 RON. E85 requires a separate tune with different fuelling, timing, and AFR targets.

What's the real-world drivability like with this setup?

Clean and linear. The larger turbo does shift spool slightly, but the intake and exhaust help response. Factory ECU platform handles it well with proper scaling.
