TCU Tuning Files for Dual-Clutch & Auto
Custom transmission control unit calibrations for DSG, DCT, ZF and torque-converter automatics — shift logic, line pressure, clutch fill and torque handling, matched to the engine tune. Supplied to approved workshops Australia-wide.
The Gearbox Has to Handle the Torque You Add
When an engine tune raises torque, the factory transmission calibration is suddenly being asked to pass more than it was set up for. Left alone, that shows up as clutch slip, harsh or flared shifts, or the transmission quietly pulling torque back to protect itself. A TCU file recalibrates how the gearbox holds and delivers that torque — so the engine work you have paid for actually reaches the wheels. On dual-clutch and modern torque-converter automatics, the ECU and TCU are best developed together.
Shift logic & firmness
Shift points, speed and firmness tuned to the torque curve and the application — daily, circuit, drag or tow — instead of the conservative factory map.
Line pressure & clutch fill
Clamping pressure and clutch fill timing raised to hold the added torque without slip, while keeping engagement controlled rather than abusive.
Torque limiters
Factory transmission torque limits that would otherwise cap the engine tune are revised in line with the hardware's real capability.
Launch & lockup
Where supported, launch behaviour and converter / clutch lockup are calibrated for consistent, repeatable delivery.
Transmission Calibration Is Data-Driven
TCU revisions cannot be done blind. They require transmission-specific logging — calculated slip per gear, line pressure versus commanded, clutch fill timing and shift event timing — captured under load. Without it, transmission changes are guesswork. The same data-led process applies to the engine side; see the workshop calibration guide for the full logging requirements, and ECU tuning files for the engine calibration these transmission files are matched to.
Supported transmissions
Dual-clutch (DSG / DCT), ZF and other torque-converter automatics on supported platforms. Confirm your exact model in the vehicle database.
Pair the gearbox with the engine tune
Register your workshop to submit ECU and TCU reads together and have the calibration developed as a matched package.
