Files are delivered through the app; data logging is supported; and you can hold multiple tunes and switch between them at your discretion — additional files carry additional fees that depend on your ECU's architecture and complexity.

The Autotuner One currently supports 335 engine and transmission control units, with the strongest coverage across BMW, Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Cupra, Seat, Skoda), Mercedes-Benz and GM platforms. Support is decided by your ECU — not just the badge — and the list grows with free updates, so we confirm your exact vehicle against current coverage before dispatch. If your vehicle isn't supported, you're refunded in full.
Engine calibration is supported today; transmission tuning on this device is planned by the manufacturer. One device supports one vehicle (VIN-locked at activation).
Read this before you buy — it's a condition of the service
At-home flashing is safe when the requirements are followed exactly. They exist because the failure modes are real, and your actions — or omissions — are the difference: an interrupted write can leave an ECU inoperable. You acknowledge these at checkout.
- Battery charger connected, always. Every read and every write must be performed with a battery charger or stable power supply connected. Voltage drop mid-write is the #1 cause of failure.
- Never interrupt a write. Don't switch the ignition off, unplug the device, open doors/accessories or let the battery sag while flashing — an interrupted write can render the ECU inoperable.
- Stable internet required. Files transfer through the app over Wi-Fi or 4G/5G.
- One device, one car. Activation locks the device to your VIN permanently — it cannot be moved to another vehicle.
- Declare your modifications accurately. The calibration is matched to the hardware you declare; undisclosed or later changes are at your risk until the file is revised.
- Warranty & compliance. Modifying the factory calibration can affect new-vehicle warranty, and road use carries emissions/compliance obligations that vary by state. Our files keep emissions hardware functional; confirming obligations for your vehicle and jurisdiction is your responsibility.
- Proven files, engine only. Included tunes are proven calibrations with reliability headroom; engine calibration only. Full custom development from your logs is a separate, comprehensive service with its own process and fees.
