This '92 GTST came in with an RB25 conversion already fitted, destined for track duty. The owner wanted a calibration that could make the most of E85 and the supporting hardware without chasing headline numbers — upgraded injectors, high-pressure fuel pump, boost control via aftermarket solenoid, and an external wastegate to keep things predictable under load.
The Haltech file was built from scratch around ethanol's cooling and octane benefits, with fuel and ignition maps tailored to the RB25's breathing characteristics and the new forced-induction setup. Dyno result came back at 140 kW at the wheels and 255 Nm, which sits well within the drivetrain's limits and gives plenty of headroom for sustained laps on a closed circuit.

Why the modest power figure for a Stage 3 build?
The calibration prioritises reliability and driveability over peak numbers. The owner wanted a file that could handle track sessions without risk, and 140 kW at the wheels leaves margin in the fuel system and engine internals for repeated hard use.
What does the Haltech platform offer for this sort of build?
Full standalone control over fuel, ignition, and boost. The RB25 responds well to custom mapping, especially on E85 where you can lean into timing and fuel volume without the knock risk you'd see on 98 RON.
