Skyline R32 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- Improved Power Output
- Improved Torque Delivery
- Launch Control
- Boost Control Optimization
- E85 Fuel Compatibility
Not every build chases stratospheric numbers. This '92 R32 wears an RB25 conversion running E85 through a Haltech standalone, backed by upgraded injectors, a high-pressure fuel pump, and full electronic boost control via solenoids and an external wastegate. Drive-by-wire was retained and integrated into the calibration.
The file prioritises driveability and consistency over peak figures. At 140 kW and 255 Nm at the wheels, it's a usable street setup for closed-circuit or off-road competition use, with the ethanol content providing headroom and knock resistance. Calibration focused on smooth throttle tip-in, stable idle, and repeatable boost delivery.
Haltech's flexibility made mapping the DBW and boost control straightforward. Workshop reported clean data on the dyno with no correction issues.
Why E85 on a build making 140 kW?
E85 offers strong knock resistance and cooler intake temps even at moderate power levels. It gives the calibration more safety margin, particularly on a swapped engine where factory knock sensing isn't present.
Is this file suited to street use?
The calibration itself is stable and driveable, but the modifications classify this as an off-road or closed-circuit vehicle under Australian regulations.
What ECU platform was used?
Haltech standalone. The file includes full DBW integration and electronic boost control mapping.
