Skyline R32 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- 119% increase in power output to 205kW
- 101% increase in torque delivery to 333Nm
- Improved boost control and solenoid response
- Optimised fuel system management
- Enhanced engine component efficiency
- Multi-fuel compatibility including E85 and flex-fuel capability
This R32 has been converted to rear-wheel drive and built around a Haltech ECU to support flex fuel operation. The full Stage 3 package includes upgraded injectors, high-pressure fuel pump, boost solenoids, wastegate, and drive-by-wire throttle—all the hardware needed to support the engine's new output envelope.
The workshop recorded 205 kW and 333 Nm at the wheels, up from 94 kW and 165 Nm. The calibration adapts automatically to fuel ethanol content, so the car can run anything from 98 RON pump fuel to E85 depending on availability and intended use. Intended for closed-circuit competition and off-road use.
Why run flex fuel on an RB26?
Flex fuel calibration allows the engine to accept any blend between 98 RON petrol and E85, giving the operator flexibility depending on fuel availability and cooling demands. E85 also offers better knock resistance under boost.
What does the RWD conversion mean for tuning?
The drivetrain is simpler without the front diff and transfer case. The Haltech calibration doesn't need to account for torque split or ATTESA behaviour, and the dyno results reflect rear-wheel output only.
Is this file suitable for street use?
This is a Stage 3 build intended for closed-circuit competition and off-road use. It requires race-grade fuelling hardware and is not designed for general street driving.
