Skyline R34 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- Improved Power Output
- Improved Torque Delivery
- Launch Control
- Boost Control Optimization
- Flex Fuel Compatibility
This R34 moved from a naturally limited factory RB25 setup to a serious flex fuel platform built for off-road and circuit use. The workshop supplied a full Stage 3 hardware package — upgraded fuel system with high pressure pump and injectors, boost control via solenoids and wastegate, plus drive-by-wire integration. The Haltech standalone gave the flexibility needed to tune both 98 RON and E85, with fuel tables optimised for each.
Dyno results came back at 351 kW at the wheels and 479 Nm, up from 180 kW and 319 Nm. The calibration focused on clean fuelling under load, smooth transitions between ethanol blends, and holding stable air-fuel ratios when the driver switches between pump premium and E85. Haltech's onboard flex sensor logic handled the rest.
Intended for closed-circuit competition use where the extra headroom and fuel adaptability make a genuine difference.
Why run flex fuel on an RB25 build at this power level?
E85 offers better knock resistance and cooling over 98 RON, which helps protect the engine under sustained high load. The flex sensor lets the tune adjust fuelling and timing automatically depending on what's in the tank, so the driver isn't locked into one fuel type.
What does the Haltech platform bring to a build like this?
Full standalone control — fuel, ignition, boost, and drive-by-wire are all managed in one calibration. It also supports flex fuel switching natively, which is critical when blending between pump fuel and ethanol.
Is this file suitable for street use?
This calibration is intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use only.
