WRX GC8 — Stage 2 ECU Tune
- Peak power output of 308kW achieved
- Boost pressure increased to 30psi (2.07 bar)
- Enhanced turbocharger performance with G30-900 upgrade
- Optimized engine management calibration via Link ECU
This EJ207-powered GC8 runs a G30-900 turbo and Link engine management, calibrated for competition use on closed circuits. Peak boost sits at 2.07 bar, delivering 308 kW at the wheels and 408 Nm torque.
The Link ECU gave us full control over fuelling, ignition timing, and boost mapping to suit the larger compressor. Stage 2 bolt-ons support the turbo upgrade without stepping into fully built territory. The dyno figures were supplied by the workshop after their final validation runs.
This setup is intended for off-road and track environments where the GC8 platform can handle the load without daily-driving compromises.
What fuel does this calibration require?
Fuel type wasn't recorded with this file. Confirm octane and fuel spec with the workshop before deploying — it's likely 98 RON or E85 given the boost and output.
Is 2.07 bar sustainable on the EJ207 bottom end?
This is a competition-oriented build. The stock EJ207 internals should be assessed case-by-case; many tuners recommend forged pistons and rods beyond 250 kW ATW for longevity.
Does the Link ECU file include traction or launch control?
Link platforms support those features, but file-specific strategy details aren't listed here. Check with your workshop or request config notes if needed.
