The Cupra Formentor VZ shares its EA888 heart with half the VAG range, and the Simos 19 platform is as familiar to us as any. This Stage 1 file chases what's available on pump 98 without asking for hardware changes.
We've recalibrated boost control, reworked the fuel system parameters, and dialled in high-pressure pump and injector behaviour to support the new load. The result is 216 kW at the wheels, up from 167, with torque lifting from 362 Nm to 434 Nm. It's a clean step up that suits daily use on decent fuel.
Simos 19 gives you decent room to move at Stage 1, and the EA888 responds predictably when the fuel delivery is sorted properly. No surprises, no fuss.
Does this tune require any hardware changes or upgraded fuel system components?
No. This is a Stage 1 software-only calibration designed to work with the factory hardware on 98 RON pump fuel.
