Full 4G63 build with flex fuel calibration on Link G4+

This Evo 9 came in as a proper built motor—H-beam rods, Kelford 272 cams working with the factory MIVEC system, and a GTX3076R sitting up top. The goal was a reliable flex fuel setup that could make the most of E85 when available and still run happily on 98 RON for daily driving. All calibration was handled through the Link G4+ standalone.

The result: 394 kW at the wheels and 540 Nm, up from 186 kW and 333 Nm. Peak boost sits at 1.79 bar, with fuelling and timing tables mapped across both E85 and pump fuel. The high-pressure pump and upgraded injectors give plenty of headroom, and the ignition system keeps everything stable under load.

This one's set up for closed-circuit competition use. The flex fuel strategy means you're not locked to one fuel type, which is handy given E85 availability can be patchy outside metro areas.

Common questions
What does flex fuel calibration actually give you on a build like this?

It allows the ECU to automatically adjust fuelling and timing based on ethanol content, so you can run E85 for maximum power or switch back to 98 RON pump fuel without re-tuning. The Link G4+ reads ethanol percentage in real time and compensates accordingly.

Is 1.79 bar sustainable on a GTX3076R with this engine setup?

With a fully built bottom end on H-beam rods, upgraded fuelling, and proper calibration, that boost level is well within safe limits for closed-circuit use. The turbo is sized appropriately for the target output and the supporting hardware is all there.

Can this file be adapted for a similar Evo build?

Every calibration we supply is vehicle-specific. While the hardware list might be similar, differences in engine condition, exact parts, and dyno results mean each file needs to be tailored. Contact us with your build spec and we'll go from there.
