S15 SR20 flex fuel file doubles atw output for circuit use

This S15 received a full forced induction rebuild around a GTX2867 turbocharger and Haltech standalone ECU, with flex fuel capability to take advantage of E85 when conditions suit. The file was developed for circuit use, balancing responsive midrange delivery with a solid top end—260 kW at the wheels from what started as a 130 kW naturally aspirated car.

The 272-degree cams shift the power band higher and work well with the turbo housing choice, while upgraded injectors and high-pressure fuel pump handle the ethanol flow requirements. Torque climbs from 218 Nm to 389 Nm, giving the rear wheels plenty to manage on corner exit. The Haltech platform handles fuel switching cleanly and allows ignition adjustment across the ethanol percentage range without needing a reflash.

Common questions
Does this calibration adjust automatically between pump 98 and E85?

Yes. The Haltech platform uses ethanol content sensing to adjust fuelling and ignition maps in real time as fuel composition changes. No manual switching required.

What sort of use is this file suited to?

This is a full circuit build calibration intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use. Not designed for street registration or daily driving.

Is the GTX2867 a good match for the SR20 at this power level?

It's a solid choice for 260 kW at the wheels. The 0.64 housing provides quick spool without choking the top end, and the compressor has headroom if the build progresses further.
