The 2014 Giulietta landed with a familiar wishlist: extract more from the factory donk without tearing into internals. Stage 2 treatment meant sorting the fuel system first — upgraded injectors and a high-pressure fuel pump to support the calibration changes ahead. Boost control and wastegate solenoids gave proper authority over delivery, while drive-by-wire tweaks brought throttle response into line.
The result was 140 kW at the wheels, up from 120, and torque lifting from 331 Nm to 397 Nm. All on 98 RON. The file focused on getting the fuelling stable across the load range and making the most of the hardware without chasing numbers for their own sake. Solid everyday improvement for a front-driver that spends most of its life on the road.
Why the fuel system upgrades for Stage 2?
The factory injectors and high-pressure pump hit their ceiling quickly once you start leaning on boost. Upgraded units ensure clean delivery and headroom for the calibration changes without running lean under load.
Is this suitable for daily use on pump fuel?
Yes. The tune was developed for 98 RON and the hardware supports normal street driving. Just keep an eye on fuel quality, especially in summer heat.
What does the drive-by-wire calibration actually change?
It sharpens throttle mapping so pedal input feels more linear and responsive, particularly useful in a front-drive platform where you want predictable power delivery out of corners.
