The 2020 Hilux N80 is one of the more popular platforms we see for touring and towing work, and this Stage 2 file was built around a full exhaust upgrade to unlock usable mid-range torque. The workshop recorded 145 kW at the wheels, up from 105 kW, with torque climbing to 524 Nm from a factory 400 Nm.
The calibration focused on driveability rather than chasing peak numbers. Throttle response was cleaned up through the lower gears, and the torque curve was broadened to suit long highway runs and loaded driving. The full exhaust allows the engine to breathe properly without the factory restriction, and the file takes advantage of that headroom without pushing into territory that compromises reliability.
It's a sensible step up for workshops with customers who actually use their Hilux hard — towing, touring, or off-road work where the extra torque makes a tangible difference.
