This 2015 WRX came in with a solid foundation of supporting hardware—exhaust, intake, plumbed BOV, oil separator, and turbo sump—but the owner wanted a sensible tune that prioritised reliability and day-to-day driveability rather than chasing peak figures.
The calibration focused on smoothing out throttle response and ensuring safe AFRs under load, particularly in warmer months. The result was 128 kW at the wheels (up from 121 kW) and 270 Nm, which reflects a conservative approach given the modest torque lift. With the transmission cooler and oil separator in place, the car is now better equipped for extended highway work or spirited weekend drives without asking too much of the factory block.
