Cressida — Stage 2 ECU Tune
- High boost capability with upgraded internals and head studs
- Enhanced fuel delivery with 1650cc injectors and Walbro 525 pump
- Optimized ignition timing with R35 coil kit and adjustable cam gears
- Improved turbocharger response with Turbosmart 6466 and 6Boost manifold
- Precise air-fuel ratio control via Elite 750 ECU with wideband sensor
This Cressida runs a properly built 1JZ—forged pistons, H-beam rods, ARP2000 head studs, and Kelford 264/272 cams with upgraded valve springs. The bottom end and head are set up for higher cylinder pressure, which the turbo and fueling took full advantage of. A medium-frame turbo with 0.83 A/R housing feeds the engine through a dedicated manifold and 50mm wastegate, while 1650cc injectors and a belt-driven fuel pump handle the supply side.
The Elite 750 gave us the resolution needed to manage cam timing, closed-loop wideband feedback, and boost control via the 3-port solenoid. Final result was 328.1 kW at the wheels and 621 Nm, recorded on the workshop dyno after calibration. The twin-plate clutch keeps the driveline together under load. Intended for closed-circuit competition use.
What ECU platform was used for this calibration?
The Elite 750 standalone ECU. It offers the I/O and processing headroom needed for individual coil control, cam timing, wideband closed-loop, and electronic boost control on a built 1JZ.
Is this file suitable for street use?
This is a Stage 2 build producing 328 kW at the wheels with a medium-frame turbo and forged internals. It's intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use.
What fuel was the tune calibrated for?
Petrol. The file and supporting hardware are matched to the fuel type specified by the workshop during calibration.
