Classic 2005 STi with the breathing mods done right. Cold air intake, full straight-pipe exhaust, and an air-oil separator to keep the intake side clean under sustained load. The calibration pulls 1.24 bar and delivers 198 kW at the wheels with 330 Nm, which sits in the reliable zone for these motors on the factory block.
Timing and fuelling are dialled for the hardware, load limits raised to suit the freer-flowing exhaust, and boost control smoothed out to avoid the spiky delivery the factory tune sometimes gives. Intended for closed-circuit competition use where the extra midrange and top-end really show up.
No knock events logged during verification. A sensible step up from stock without chasing numbers that push longevity the wrong way.
Is 198 kW safe on the factory turbo and internals?
Yes. This sits well within the envelope for a healthy EJ257 on stock internals with the breathing improved. The calibration respects factory block and head limits.
