Harrop-charged E90 M3 on Syvecs flex, 437 kW at the wheels

This 2011 E90 M3 is built for closed-circuit use with a sleeved S65 block, Harrop supercharger, and Syvecs standalone managing both fuelling and gearbox. The Syvecs ECU and TCU tune handles flex fuel sensing, swapping between 98 RON pump gas and E85 depending on what's in the tank, with fuelling scaled to suit the upgraded high-pressure pump and injectors.

The dyno result came back at 437 kW and 598 Nm at the wheels, up from 253 kW and 330 Nm in factory trim. The DCT transmission mapping is calibrated to handle the torque while keeping shift quality tight under load. Boost solenoids are tuned to keep the blower within safe pressure limits for the sleeved block.

This is a full Stage 3 package built around the Syvecs platform's flexibility with forced induction and flex fuel sensing, suited to track environments where both power and driveability under varied fuel quality matter.

Common questions
What does the flex fuel tuning actually do on this setup?

The Syvecs ECU monitors ethanol content and adjusts ignition timing, fuelling, and boost targets in real time. On E85 the engine makes peak power; on 98 RON pump fuel it pulls timing and boost back to stay safe.

Why sleeve the S65 for a supercharger build?

The factory S65 cylinders aren't designed for sustained boost and heat. Sleeving provides stronger cylinder walls and better thermal stability under forced induction, particularly at this power level.

Is the DCT transmission mapping included in the file?

Yes. The Syvecs TCU tune adjusts shift points, pressure, and torque limits to suit the supercharged output, keeping shifts clean and protecting the gearbox under load.
