Supra — Stage 2 ECU Tune
- 59% increase in engine power output
- 93% increase in torque delivery
- Improved boost control and stability
- Enhanced fuel system capacity and atomization
- Optimized drive by wire responsiveness
- Street-focused performance calibration
This JZA80 2JZ-GTE build centres on a G30-900 turbocharger backed by upgraded fuel delivery and precise electronic boost control through Haltech. The calibration maps boost, fuelling, and ignition timing to suit 98 RON and the larger turbo's flow characteristics, with drive-by-wire integration retained for smooth throttle response. Boost peaks at 1.31 bar.
The result is 318 kW at the wheels and 284 Nm, up from 200 kW and 147 Nm respectively — a gain of 118 kW. Fuelling remains stable under load and the torque curve fills out nicely once the G30 comes on song. Intended for closed-circuit competition use, this calibration balances accessible mid-range with top-end output while keeping IATs in check during sustained high-load runs.
What supporting hardware was required for this power level?
The build required a G30-900 turbocharger, high-pressure fuel pump, upgraded injectors, and boost control solenoids with wastegate control. Drive-by-wire integration was retained on the Haltech platform.
Is this calibration street-safe or competition-only?
This tune is designed for off-road and closed-circuit competition use, not general road duties.
How does the 2JZ respond to this boost level on 98 RON?
At 1.31 bar the 2JZ-GTE delivers strong mid-range torque and holds power cleanly to redline on pump 98, provided the fuelling and ignition maps are dialled in for the larger turbo's flow.
