The B58 responds well to a proper Stage 2 setup, and this 2018 M140 makes the case. With a high-flow downpipe, enhanced intake, and both ECU and XHP transmission calibration, the car recorded 283 kW at the wheels from a baseline of 227.5 kW — a gain of 55.5 kW. Torque climbed from 470 Nm to 531 Nm, with boost sitting at 1.4 bar.
The XHP TCU file sharpens shift behaviour and lockup strategy to suit the extra output, particularly useful on the RWD platform where torque management matters. We tuned for closed-circuit competition use, keeping the drivetrain in mind.

What's the advantage of pairing the ECU file with an XHP transmission tune?
