Stage 2 C250 with fuelling and boost hardware for 98 RON

The 2015 C250 arrived with a sensible set of supporting mods already fitted: uprated wastegate solenoids, boost control, high-pressure fuel pump, and injectors. The factory ECU was ready for a proper Stage 2 calibration on 98 RON pump fuel.

We dialled in boost and fuelling to suit the hardware, working through drive-by-wire response and delivery. Final numbers came in at 133 kW and 546 Nm at the wheels, up 18.4 kW on the stock file. The torque curve sits where you want it for road use—ample mid-range shove without chasing peak numbers that live for a few hundred rpm.

This is a honest daily package. The hard work was already done with the fuel system and boost control; the file brought it all together on 98 and kept it sensible for Australian conditions.

Common questions
What hardware is needed for Stage 2 on the C250?

This build ran boost control, wastegate solenoids, a high-pressure fuel pump, and upgraded injectors. The tune was tailored to the factory ECU with those components in place.

Is 98 RON enough for this power level?

Yes. The calibration was written specifically for 98 RON pump fuel, with fuelling and timing matched to the upgraded injectors and pump. No need for E85 or race fuel at this stage.

How much torque gain did the tune deliver?

Torque lifted from 501 Nm to 546 Nm at the wheels. The curve is broad and usable, not just a peak number.

This calibration was developed for a workshop like yours

The Mercedes C250 above was calibrated by Protunes for a partner workshop — they did the vehicle work and kept their customer; we did the calibration engineering on the Factory. Add professional ECU and TCU calibration to your workshop without employing a calibration engineer.
