SR20 180SX with GT2860R and Haltech Elite — 138 kW atw

Classic S-chassis built for circuit work, running a GT2860R on variable cam SR20 with full Haltech Elite engine management. The file targets 98 RON and takes advantage of the upgraded intercooler, custom piping, and revised fuel system to support the new turbo and boost control hardware.

Power lifted from 104.5 kW to 138 kW at the wheels, with torque climbing to 224 Nm from 149.3 Nm. The Haltech platform gives proper control over ignition timing, fuelling, and cam phasing, which is critical when you're moving this far beyond factory spec on a twenty-year-old chassis.

This is a Stage 1 calibration supplied to the workshop for off-road and closed-circuit use. No hardware changes are required beyond what's already fitted.

Common questions
What ECU platform was used for this calibration?

The car is running a Haltech Elite engine management system, which replaces the factory ECU entirely and allows full control over ignition, fuelling, cam timing, and boost.

Is this calibration suitable for street use?

This file is supplied for off-road and closed-circuit competition use only, in line with the modifications and power output.

What fuel is required?

The tune is calibrated for 98 RON pump fuel.

This calibration was developed for a workshop like yours

The Nissan 180SX above was calibrated by Protunes for a partner workshop — they did the vehicle work and kept their customer; we did the calibration engineering on the Haltech. Add professional ECU and TCU calibration to your workshop without employing a calibration engineer.
