Supra — Stage 2 ECU Tune
- 29% increase in peak power output
- 33% increase in torque delivery
- Improved boost control responsiveness
- Enhanced fuel system efficiency
- Optimized engine management calibration
The 2JZ-GTE is a proven platform for off-road and circuit use, and this JZA80 shows how much is left on the table from the factory with just fuel system upgrades and boost control. The Haltech ECU gives proper authority over wastegate duty, injector timing, and drive-by-wire response, so you're not fighting the old factory logic.
With a high-pressure fuel pump, larger injectors, and boost solenoid setup, the calibration lifted power from 133 kW to 172 kW at the wheels, with torque climbing from 323 Nm to 430 Nm. Nothing exotic here – just clean fuelling on 98 RON and stable boost control throughout the range.
This file is intended for competition use and suits builds already running Haltech with basic hardware upgrades in place. Workshop dyno figures as supplied.
Does this file require upgraded fuel components?
Yes. This calibration assumes a high-pressure fuel pump and larger injectors are already fitted, along with boost solenoid and wastegate control hardware.
Is this file compatible with a stock 2JZ-GTE turbo?
The file was developed on a car running the modifications listed, including boost control upgrades. Original turbo spec was not recorded, so check your hardware matches the build sheet before deploying.
Can this be run on a daily street car?
This tune is for off-road and closed-circuit competition use only. It's not intended for registered road use in Australia.
This calibration was developed for a workshop like yours
The Toyota Supra above was calibrated by Protunes for a partner workshop — they did the vehicle work and kept their customer; we did the calibration engineering on the Haltech. Add professional ECU and TCU calibration to your workshop without employing a calibration engineer.
