These CTS Turbo connecting rods are a 144x20 tapered, rifle drilled design engineered for the EA113 2.0T FSI platform found in MK5 and B7 chassis running stock pistons. The tapered profile and rifle drilled oiling path support consistent lubrication to the pin and bearing surfaces during sustained high load use. Built as a direct upgrade over factory rods, they give the rotating assembly a stronger foundation for engines pushed harder than standard, helping reduce the risk of rod related failure while keeping compatibility with stock piston setups on this EA113 platform.
