This is a set of forged JE pistons from CTS Turbo, sized to the 82.5mm stock bore for MQB platform 2.0T engines. Forged construction gives the piston crown and skirt greater strength and heat tolerance than a factory cast piston, making it suited to engines being built for sustained high-load tuning work rather than stock-power use. Because it retains the stock bore diameter, it suits builds staying with factory cylinder dimensions rather than requiring a bore-out. A solid choice for workshops assembling a stronger bottom end on MQB 2.0T engines.
