S2000 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- 80% power increase to 263kW
- 243% torque increase to 598Nm
- Supercharger boost control optimization
- Advanced fuel system management
- Drive by wire integration
- Multi-fuel capability with E85 and Flex Fuel support
The F20C platform responds well to forced induction when the supporting hardware is sorted. This 2002 S2000 runs a Novi 1200 supercharger with high-pressure fuel pump, upgraded injectors, and full drive-by-wire control through the Haltech Platinum Plug In Pro ECU. The flex fuel calibration lets the car switch between 98 RON and E85 depending on what's available and what the session demands.
Dyno figures came back at 263 kW at the wheels, up from the factory 176 kW, with torque jumping from 208 Nm to 598 Nm. The Haltech calibration manages boost control via solenoid and keeps the map safe for track work in Australian summer heat. Build is intended for closed-circuit competition use.
Why flex fuel on a supercharged S2000?
E85 provides better knock resistance and cooling under boost, but flex fuel calibration means the car can still run safely on 98 RON if ethanol isn't available at the track or en route.
What ECU platform was used?
Haltech Platinum Plug In Pro. It's a direct plug-in ECU for the S2000 and handles full drive-by-wire control, boost solenoid management, and flex fuel sensing.
Is this setup suitable for street use?
This is a Stage 3 build intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use. The torque increase and boost delivery are significant and best suited to controlled environments.
