335i E90 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- Optimized fueling for increased airflow and boost demands
- Consistent torque delivery across operating range
- Stable boost control management
- OEM-level drivability preservation
- Elimination of overboosting and inconsistent drivability issues
- Power output increased to 237 kW with 568 Nm torque delivery
This is a properly sorted N55 build for off-road competition use. The customer brought a 2010 E90 335i fitted with a PureTurbos Stage 1 turbo sporting a Borg Warner core and upgraded front housing, full exhaust work from turbo to tailpipe, a CSF intercooler, GFB diverter valve upgrade, solid charge pipe, and a cold air intake. Supporting hardware is all there.
The calibration focused on extracting usable output across the range without leaning on aggressive timing strategies that don't survive track conditions. Post-tune numbers came in at 237 kW at the wheels with 568 Nm, recorded on the workshop dyno. The torque curve is strong and flat through the mid-range, which is where these cars live on circuit. Fuel system is holding up well at this output level, and the PureTurbos unit spools cleanly without the surge issues some other options bring.
Is this turbo setup reliable for sustained high-load use?
The PureTurbos Stage 1 with Borg Warner core is a proven choice at this power level. With the upgraded front housing and supporting cooling, it handles track sessions well without excessive heat soak or spool lag.
What fuel is required for this calibration?
Fuel type wasn't recorded with this submission, but at 237 kW at the wheels on an N55, this is likely tuned for 98 RON pump fuel or E85. Confirm with us when ordering.
Does the stock fuel system cope at 568 Nm?
Yes. The N55 fuel system handles this output comfortably with the factory high-pressure pump and injectors. Beyond this level you'd want to start planning upgrades.
