Stage 2 N54 135i — factory ECU and TCU tune on 98 RON

The N54 platform responds well when you address the right chokepoints. This Stage 2 file focuses on factory ECU and TCU recalibration with boost control optimisation, wastegate solenoid tuning, high pressure fuel pump adjustment, and injector scaling. Drive-by-wire calibration was dialled in to match the torque curve.

Workshop-supplied dyno data shows 199 kW at the wheels, up from 147 kW factory, with torque lifting from 467 Nm to 598 Nm. The file is intended for closed-circuit and off-road competition use on 98 RON.

TCU tuning smooths shift strategy under load and makes better use of the midrange torque. No boost figure was recorded, but the file scales fuelling and timing to suit the hardware fitted.

Common questions
Does this file require supporting hardware beyond Stage 2 basics?

No. The tune assumes typical Stage 2 supporting mods are in place and works within the factory ECU and TCU. Boost control, wastegate solenoid, fuel pump, and injector parameters are all optimised in software.

What's the torque gain like in the midrange?

Torque jumps from 467 Nm to 598 Nm overall. The N54's twin-scroll setup and revised fuel delivery bring most of that gain online early, making the car much more responsive from low revs.

Is the TCU tune included in the file?

Yes. Both ECU and TCU calibration are included. Shift maps and torque limiters are adjusted to handle the additional output and improve drivability under load.
