The N57 in the E90 330d responds well when you address its fuel and air delivery limits. This Stage 2 file was built for a car running upgraded injectors, high-pressure fuel pump work, and revised boost control hardware including solenoids and wastegate setup. Drive-by-wire calibration was also adjusted to suit the increased output.
The result is a measured 148 kW at the wheels, up from 110.4 kW factory, with torque lifting from 500.8 Nm to 631 Nm. The N57's broad torque curve makes it well-suited to long highway hauls and overtaking work, and this file takes advantage of the hardware without chasing peak numbers at the expense of driveability.
