This 1996 Supra is a full engine rebuild with a mild 10:1 compression ratio, Kelford 272/278 cams, and a Garrett GTX3582R 1.06 turbo. The Haltech Nexus platform handles both engine management and vehicle CAN/PDM functions, giving clean integration for flex fuel operation on 98 RON and E85. Boost runs from 1.17 bar on pump fuel to 2.41 bar on E85, where the result is 581 kW at the wheels and 815 Nm — a 286 kW gain over stock.
The higher compression works with the flex fuel strategy to keep power up on pump, then lets E85 carry the load once boost and timing ramp. High-pressure fuel pump and upgraded injectors meet flow demand at peak. This calibration is intended for closed-circuit competition use.

Higher compression improves response and power on 98 RON, and E85's octane tolerance allows full boost at 2.41 bar without knock. It's a balance for flex fuel operation.
