ECU Bench Unlock — Standard (No Boot Method)
Late-model ECUs ship with factory tuning protection that must be unlocked on the bench before any calibration can be written — common on BMW and other European platforms. This service covers ECUs that unlock without a boot-mode procedure.
You (or your workshop) remove the ECU and courier it to us; we perform the unlock and return it ready for OBD tuning. Typical bench time is fast once received.
Courier & insurance are not included — you arrange and pay shipping both ways, and we strongly recommend transit insurance: the ECU is in the courier's hands, not ours, and we accept no liability for loss or damage in transit.
Risks (acknowledged at checkout): bench work on any ECU carries inherent risk, and aged or previously-repaired hardware can fail during any handling; removal/refitting quality is the customer's responsibility; an unlocked ECU is a prerequisite for tuning, not a tune itself. VIN and exact vehicle details are required so the correct method is applied.
