ISF — Stage 1 ECU Tune
- 6% power increase to 280kW
- 6% torque increase to 436Nm
- optimized fuel pump performance
- improved fuel injection mapping
- enhanced drive-by-wire response
The ISF's 2UR-GSE responds well to breathing mods and factory ECU calibration work. This one came in with 4-into-1 extractors, full exhaust, and an intake already fitted. The workshop recorded 263 kW at the wheels before the tune.
We adjusted timing, fuelling, and throttle mapping to suit the improved exhaust flow and 98 RON. The result was 280 kW and 436 Nm at the wheels, a gain of 17 kW and 24 Nm over the pre-tune baseline. Torque delivery is smoother through the mid-range, and throttle response is noticeably sharper.
This is a solid Stage 1 outcome for a naturally-aspirated V8 on pump fuel. The factory ECU has enough headroom to make use of bolt-on breathing mods without needing standalone management.
Does the 2UR-GSE need a standalone ECU for this level of output?
No. The factory ECU has sufficient adjustment range for Stage 1 work with bolt-on exhaust and intake modifications on 98 RON.
What's the minimum hardware required for this tune?
Extractors, full exhaust, and an intake are needed. This file won't deliver the quoted figures on a stock exhaust system.
Is this tune safe for daily use on 98 RON pump fuel?
Yes. It's calibrated specifically for 98 RON and suits regular street driving with appropriate cooling and servicing.
