Crafter — Stage 1 ECU Tune
- 83% power increase
- 77% torque increase
- Improved fuel efficiency
- Enhanced boost control response
- Optimized fuel injection timing
The 2007 Crafter is a commercial diesel that thrives on torque, and this Stage 1 file was written to lift drivability without asking for any hardware investment. We've opened up boost control, refined wastegate solenoid behaviour, and sharpened high-pressure fuel pump mapping and injector timing to pull an extra 3.5 kW at the wheels and lift torque from 430 to 459 Nm.
The result is a more responsive throttle through drive-by-wire optimisation and a flatter torque curve that makes loaded acceleration feel less laboured. Perfect for fleet operators or owner-drivers chasing a bit more grunt on long highway hauls or through hilly terrain without the cost or downtime of fitting parts.
Does this tune require any hardware changes or supporting modifications?
No. This is a Stage 1 software-only calibration that works with the factory hardware. The tune optimises existing boost control, wastegate solenoids, fuel pump, injectors, and throttle mapping without requiring any physical upgrades.
What are the actual measured power and torque figures?
The workshop recorded 46 kW at the wheels (up from 42.5 kW stock) and 459 Nm torque, up from 430 Nm. That's a gain of 3.5 kW and 29 Nm on the factory calibration.
Is this calibration safe for daily commercial use?
Yes. The tune stays within factory hardware margins and is designed for real-world commercial duty. It's commonly run in fleet vans and service vehicles where reliability and uptime matter.
