Golf R32 — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- Improved Power Output
- Improved Torque Delivery
- Increased Throttle Response
- Boost Control Optimization
- Drive By Wire Calibration
This one came through as a complete forced-induction retrofit on the naturally aspirated BUB V6. The workshop fitted a supercharger kit with all supporting hardware — high-pressure fuel pump, larger injectors, boost solenoids, and wastegate control. The factory ECU was reflashed to suit E85 and the new boost setup.
We worked from the hardware spec and fuel system limits to build a calibration that delivered 130 kW at the wheels, up from the factory 52 kW baseline. Torque more than doubled to 318 Nm. It's a clean result for a supercharged VR6 on ethanol, with power spread suited to closed-circuit use.
E85 gave us the octane ceiling needed to run meaningful boost without pulling timing. The fuel system upgrade was sized correctly, and the calibration reflects that — no shortcuts, just a stable map for track work.
Is this supercharged or turbocharged?
The workshop fitted a supercharger kit. The modifications list includes boost solenoids and wastegate, which suggests a positive-displacement blower setup with electronic boost control.
Why E85 instead of 98 RON?
E85 offers much higher knock resistance, allowing more aggressive timing and boost on a forced-induction setup like this. The fuel system was upgraded to handle ethanol's higher flow requirements.
Can this tune run on pump 98?
No. This calibration is built specifically for E85. Running pump petrol will cause detonation and engine damage.
