Commodore VZ — Stage 3 ECU Tune
- 106% increase in power output
- 88% increase in torque delivery
- Supercharger boost optimization
- Enhanced fuel system capacity
- Improved throttle response via DBW calibration
- Optimized boost control strategy
This VZ with a 6.2-litre LS received a full forced-induction overhaul for off-road and closed-circuit use. The Harrop positive-displacement supercharger sits atop a refreshed bottom end, backed by a camshaft package suited to the blower's pressure curve, performance header, full exhaust, and upgraded fuelling via larger injectors and a high-pressure pump.
The Factory ECU calibration was reworked to manage boost control, ignition timing and fuel demand under load. Drive-by-wire tables were optimised for throttle response. The result is 360 kW and 408 Nm at the wheels — nearly doubling the factory output on 98 RON alone.
This file is suitable for similar VZ LS 6.2 builds running positive-displacement superchargers with supporting fuelling, camshaft and exhaust hardware.
Can this file run on 95 RON or E85?
No. This calibration is built for 98 RON only. A separate tune would be required for E85, though the hardware is typically E85-compatible with appropriate injector sizing and fuel system checks.
What ECU platform was used for this calibration?
The factory ECU was retained and tuned on the bench. No standalone or piggyback required.
Is this file suitable for street use?
This is a full Stage 3 build calibrated for off-road and closed-circuit competition. It's not intended or warranted for road registration or daily driving.
