Stage 2 MPS with supporting hardware and 98 RON

The MZR-DISI responds well once you've sorted the fuelling and breathing. This 2011 MPS came in with a high-flow intake, 3-inch downpipe, upgraded injectors, and an aftermarket high-pressure fuel pump — the typical foundation for a reliable Stage 2 setup on 98 RON.

The factory ECU calibration was revised to suit the hardware changes, with fuel and ignition maps adjusted to make safe use of the extra flow. Measured at the wheels, power lifted from 162 kW to 177 kW, with torque climbing from 296 Nm to 323 Nm. The result is a noticeably stronger mid-range and cleaner top-end pull, without asking too much of the stock turbo.

This file is intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use. The MPS platform benefits from careful boost control tuning — the factory solenoid setup was replaced here to improve response and stability under load.

Common questions
What supporting mods are required for this Stage 2 file?

You'll need upgraded injectors, a high-pressure fuel pump, a free-flowing downpipe, and an intake that flows better than stock. Boost solenoid upgrades are also recommended for consistent control.

Is the stock turbo still reliable at this output level?

At 177 kW at the wheels, the factory turbo is working but not being pushed beyond reasonable duty. It's a sensible ceiling for longevity on 98 RON with the stock snail.

Can this tune be adapted if the customer adds an intercooler later?

Yes. If a front-mount intercooler is added down the track, the file can be revised to take advantage of lower intake temps and run more timing or boost where it's safe to do so.
