C43 AMG — Stage 1 ECU Tune
- Immediate throttle response
- Stronger midrange performance
- Increased urgency through rev range
- Easier breathing for twin-turbo V6
- Retained factory smoothness and reliability
The 2016 C43 AMG already offers plenty from the factory, but there's room to move without touching hardware. This Stage 1 file works with a high-flow intake to lift wheel power from 213 kW to 231 kW, with torque climbing from 430 Nm to 475 Nm. The gain is modest but consistent, and it's achieved purely through recalibration.
The twin-turbo V6 responds well to refinement in fuelling and timing, especially when breathing more freely. We've kept the delivery smooth and usable, focusing on real-world flexibility rather than chasing peak numbers. For a workshop customer after a noticeable improvement without the complexity of supporting mods, this is the sensible starting point.
Is this tune safe on the factory engine internals?
Yes. Stage 1 is software-only and requires no hardware changes beyond the high-flow intake fitted to this car. The calibration stays within safe margins for the stock twin-turbo V6.
What fuel should the customer run after this tune?
While fuel type wasn't recorded for this specific build, most Stage 1 tunes on these platforms are developed for 98 RON pump fuel. Confirm requirements with the customer before delivery.
Will this affect the factory transmission tune?
This is ECU-only. The TCU retains factory programming, though some workshops pair this with a separate TCU file to firm shift points and improve torque converter lockup behaviour.
