The PX2 3.2 responded well to a factory ECU recalibration, picking up 35 kW and 190 Nm at the wheels without any hardware swaps. The workshop recorded 145 kW and 600 Nm on the dyno, both figures measured at the wheels.
This is a straightforward Stage 1 file built around optimised boost control, wastegate duty, drive-by-wire mapping, and fuel delivery tweaks to the high-pressure pump and injector tables. The 3.2 has enough margin in the factory hardware to support these numbers safely, and the result is a much more usable ute for towing and highway work.
Suited to workshops chasing reliable midrange torque for customers who actually load their trays or pull trailers in summer heat. No drama, just a solid lift over stock.
Does this tune require any hardware changes?
No. This is a Stage 1 software-only calibration. The factory hardware is retained and the tune works within its limits.
What does the torque curve look like through the midrange?
The 600 Nm figure is the peak at the wheels. The tune optimises boost control, fuelling, and wastegate duty to lift torque across the usable band, but we don't have a recorded curve for this particular dyno session.
Is this safe for daily towing and long highway runs?
Yes. The calibration stays within the factory hardware tolerances and has been built with Australian summer heat and loaded towing in mind.
