Factory ECU and TCU calibration for an FG Falcon running a built Barra on E85. The workshop supplied this one with a Garrett 3582, 2200cc injectors, uprated fuel pump, upgraded intercooler, Kelford valve springs, and ARP head studs — proper supporting hardware for off-road and circuit use.
The tune was developed around the ethanol fuel system and turbo package, addressing both ignition and fuelling strategy along with torque management through the TCU. Recorded output came in at 226 kW and 508 Nm at the wheels, up from 126 kW and 334 Nm in factory spec.
E85 ethanol calibration requires close attention to injector duty cycle and fuel pressure, particularly in Australian summer heat. The file reflects the full complement of hardware changes and was validated against the workshop's dyno results.
Is this file suitable for street use in a Falcon FG?
This is a Stage 3 file developed for a full build with a large-frame turbo and E85. It is intended for off-road and closed-circuit competition use only.
Does the file include TCU changes as well as ECU?
Yes. Both ECU and TCU calibration are included, with torque management adjusted to suit the increased output and turbo delivery.
What fuel must be used with this calibration?
E85 ethanol only. The ignition and fuelling tables are specific to ethanol and will not run safely on 98 RON petrol.
