GLA45 Stage 3 with MTQ highflow and factory ECU strategy

The M133 responds well to boost and fuel when the turbo is right-sized for the platform. This Stage 3 file supports an MTQ highflow turbocharger along with intake, downpipe, and injector upgrades, running 2.2 bar on 98 RON. Factory ECU strategy was retained and stretched to accommodate the new hardware.

Power lifted from 180 kW to 263 kW at the wheels, with torque climbing from 249 Nm to 326 Nm. Boost solenoid tuning and fuel pump optimization were dialled in to keep delivery stable under load. The file is intended for closed-circuit and off-road competition use where the drivetrain can handle the additional output safely.

Calibration focused on repeatable results rather than chasing peaks, so the curve holds consistent through the pull. Lambda, ignition timing, and wastegate duty were all tuned to suit the highflow and supporting mods without leaving the factory architecture behind.

Common questions
Can the factory ECU handle this level of modification on the M133?

Yes, the factory ECU was retained and recalibrated to support the MTQ highflow turbo and upgraded fuelling. Boost solenoid duty, injector scaling, and fuel pump control were all adjusted within the factory strategy to deliver 263 kW at the wheels on 98 RON.

What's the boost pressure and is it safe on pump fuel?

This file runs 2.2 bar on 98 RON with ignition timing and lambda tables tuned accordingly. It's intended for competition use where the engine and drivetrain are in known good condition and regularly maintained.

Does the AWD system cope with the torque increase?

Torque rose from 249 Nm to 326 Nm. The calibration assumes the drivetrain and clutch packs are in good health, but this level of output is for off-road or closed-circuit use where mechanical limits can be monitored closely.
