C63 AMG Sports Edition — Stage 1 ECU Tune
- 9% power increase to 278kW
- 10% torque increase to 466Nm
- Improved boost control
- Enhanced fuel system response
- Optimized drive-by-wire calibration
The M156 naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 is a known quantity, but there's still room to move on the factory ECU when you've got upgraded fuelling and boost control hardware already in place. This 2012 C63 AMG Sports Edition arrived with boost solenoids, a high-pressure fuel pump, and injectors sorted, so the calibration focused on extracting what the hardware could deliver.
The result was 278 kW at the wheels, up from a baseline 255 kW — a gain of 23 kW. Torque lifted from 424 Nm to 466 Nm. Clean map, no boost figure recorded on the dyno run, and the car stayed on pump 98. Stage 1 done properly.
Does this build need the hardware listed, or can I flash it onto a stock C63?
This file was developed for a car already running upgraded boost control, solenoids, high-pressure fuel pump, and injectors. You'll need equivalent hardware in place before loading this calibration.
Why mention boost control on a naturally aspirated M156?
Good question — the modifications list reflects what the workshop recorded for this specific vehicle. The M156 is naturally aspirated, so boost control and solenoids aren't typical. Confirm the actual hardware on your build before ordering.
What fuel does this tune require?
This file is calibrated for 98 RON pump fuel.
