Vito 119 — Stage 1 ECU Tune
- 26% power increase
- 20% torque increase
- Improved fuel efficiency
- Enhanced boost control
- Optimised fuel injection mapping
The 2017 Vito 119 responded well to calibration changes targeting boost control, wastegate solenoid duty, injector timing, and high-pressure fuel pump strategy. With factory hardware and 98 RON, the tune lifted output from 87 kW to 110 kW at the wheels, with torque climbing from 413 Nm to 496 Nm.
This Stage 1 file reworks drive-by-wire mapping to flatten throttle response under load and adjusts fuelling to suit the revised boost curve. No mechanical changes required, just a reflash on the factory ECU. The result is a broader, more usable spread of torque through the mid-range, which suits the commercial delivery duty cycle most of these vans see.
Workshops reported the file as predictable and stable during road testing, with no fault codes or adaptation issues after the flash.
Does this Stage 1 tune require any hardware changes?
No. The file works with the factory turbo, injectors, and fuel system. Calibration adjustments are made to boost control, wastegate duty, injector timing, and high-pressure fuel pump parameters.
What fuel is this tune calibrated for?
98 RON pump fuel. The file is mapped for Australian premium unleaded and should not be run on 95 or lower octane.
Is the torque increase safe for the factory drivetrain?
The tune lifts torque from 413 Nm to 496 Nm. Workshops should ensure the clutch and gearbox are in sound condition, particularly on higher-kilometre commercial vans.
